You may have heard of various programs and apps that help you block unknown numbers from your phone. Some of these programs include Silence Unknown Callers, Hiya, TrapCall, and AT&T Call Protect. However, you will need to know the correct way to use them.
Silence Unknown Callers
If you want to block incoming calls from unknown numbers and keep your phone free of spam, iOS 13 has a feature you can use to do just that. This feature automatically mutes calls from unknown numbers and other numbers that are not saved in your contacts or in your recent calls list. Its user-friendly interface allows you to use it without any problems. While Hiya is not as powerful as Apple’s built-in features, it’s still an excellent choice for those who want to block calls.
To block a specific number, go to your Contacts app and click on the “iBlacklist” icon. You can also block incoming SMS messages, MMS, and FaceTime. Once you’ve selected the number, select the action you want to take. You can choose to send the caller to voicemail or issue a busy signal. After blocking a number, you can close the contact. AT&T Call Protect
Fortunately, AT&T has made it easier to protect your privacy with its new call blocking app for iPhone 13. While it’s not a complete security solution, the app will block unwanted calls. Unlike some other services, AT&T Call Protect lets you control which calls are blocked. You can set the time a block is in effect, and you can turn it off and on with Siri.
Users who don’t want to install the AT&T Call Protect app on their iPhone can turn it off by using the iCloud icon, which is also located in the iCloud app. The app is not automatically installed on iOS devices, but can be downloaded from the App Store.
